I think that people that don’t blog would think it was weird if I said that i have had a lot of blessings from blogging. But, other bloggers get it.
The biggest thing that I have been blessed with is amazing friends. Remember my post a little bit ago about books? Well, one of those amazing friends sent me The Book of Awesome as a happy new years surprise.
It totally made my day! What a sweet surprise. Julie, you totally rock. Thank you so much. For the book, for your blog, and for being such a good friend.
Over the summer, we went to Julie’s house. The kids still talk about it and ask when we can go back. Next time, we’re planning on more than a few hours because that time absolutely flew by and it was such fun to be together with such great women.

Love you! And I know what you mean. Whenever I think of deleting my blog or going private (only once, recently, wondering about what a bmom would think if she found us), I think about all the good friends I've made through the blog, and realize there's no way I could ever not blog publicly.
Before I blogged, I thought stories of women who got to know each other through blogging and considered themselves "friends" were super weird and had no sense of reality. I was wrong. Dead wrong.
I'm really grateful for my friends, including those whom I have met through blogging. You're one of those great friends.
Oh, and Julie, you DO rock.
That is awesome! I can't say that I've met a lot of friends through blogging. Only you. But that's good with me. But blogging has helped change my family's life in other ways that is super cool.
I think that it so neat that you have met people through blogging. You would think that living in a big city like I do I would have some bloggers in my area, but no.....none so far. Of course if I traveled a couple hours away. :)
