Every year, I tell myself that I am going to do a December Daily album a la Ali Edwards. This year I planned on it. I had plans for making my album and being ready. Then I woke up this morning and it’s December 1 all ready. And I have no album ready. So I’m going to attempt it online ~ and maybe I’ll do a digital book at the end.

My youngest son’s primary teacher loves him.
I am so grateful for this wonderfully patient woman that loves my son and teaches him all about God and the church on Sundays.
A couple of days ago she dropped by with a little Christmas gift for him.
It’s a little advent calendar.
Each day until Christmas, he will get to open a little window to reveal a picture underneath. It’s a beautiful picture and he’s so excited about it.
Now, I don’t know, but I have a hunch that on December 24, he will open the flap and there will be a little baby Jesus. I always hope that at Christmas the kids will remember the real reason for the holiday, and this is one more way to help him remember.

Awesome. I know, one word comments are crappy, but that's that. I love teachers who care so much. (And now this is longer than one word!)
