Just a normal day.
Errands. Laundry. School. Work. A friend over to play with my youngest. A movie for the older two (The Santa Claus with Tim Allen. Such a classic). A quick trip up the gorge to see the 2nd/3rd grade class’s salmon be released to the wild. Meeting for scouts. Meeting at the school for the parent committee. Kids in bed late. Blazer game on TV. Christmas lights plugged in as soon as my oldest comes down the stairs each morning. The count down calendar changed a couple times by each kid because they all want a turn to write on the little chalk board. Cereal for breakfast. Soup for lunch for me (YUM). Tacos for dinner. Lots of wind – it’s officially winter in our town, Oregon; the non-stop, unless it’s raining, 30 mph winds have started.
I’m thankful for days like this that are uneventful. We’re safe, happy and healthy.

That is one busy day. Was it windy at your house on Saturday? It was so windy here.
We have a little chalkboard countdown thingy too! And my kids all fight over who gets to erase the old number and write in the new one. So far Sophia has figured out how to get to it first almost every single day. Lifes just not fair, I guess :)
I'm tired just reading about your day!
You have a lot to do for such an uneventful day :) BTW I've been meaning to tell you I made the pumpkin smoothies and the kids loved them! YUM
