A Must Read

I just finished Tallgrass by Sandra Dallas.

I absolutely LOVED it. It was very satisfying. And isn't the cover beautiful?

It is the story of a Japanese Interment camp that opens near a small town in Colorado. The story is told from the perspective of 13 year old Rennie and it is very well done.

Check it out if you have the chance. Also check out The Diary of Mattie Spencer by the same author. And after you check it out and read it, report back to me and tell me if you loved it as much as I did?

What was the last book that you read that was very satisfying to read?

I just put Tallgrass on hold at the library. Have you read Weedflower? I loved that book - they sound like they're about similar stories.

Go here to read Stubborn Twig. It's about another Japanese interment camp, this time in Oregon:

It will be one of the books promoted by the Oregon libraries next year.

This is on my list. I'm glad it was good. The latest one I've read that was really satisfying was "A Woman's Place" by Lynn Austin. Loved it! The review is on my book blog.
