Resolutions

Bryan doesn't like to make resolutions. He thinks that people should be improving themselves all year round. I agree, but for me a new year is a good jumping off place. I make resolutions every year, and some years I have better luck that others. I don't give up on my goals right away. I see it as a goal for all year, so if I stumble, I try to just get up, dust my self off and recommit myself.

Here are my resolutions for this year:
Read the Ensign Every Month: I read all the other magazines that I subscribe to cover to cover, but not the Ensign. That doesn't make sense, because the Ensign is the one that can help me the most.
Yell Less: I yell too much. This has been a resolution for a couple of years, but I think that this is the year for it to happen.
Send Birthday Cards Out on Time: I used to be so good at this. Doesn't everyone love getting a birthday card in the mail? This year, I vow to get back to being better.
Run/Walk a 10K: Every year I make a goal to do with my weight. It doesn't ever happen so this year, I am not setting a "weight" goal, instead I am setting a "fitness" goal.
Read to my Kids Most Days: I love to read to my kids, I don't know why I have let this slack. My goal is to read to my kids most days of the year.

So there you have it. What are your goals for the year? You can do it!!

Good goals. I've been thinking about mine, but I haven't made any concrete yet. I need to do that.

It seems my mind is about 1 week behind the date. Maybe by the 8th I'll have some new goals to committ to. I love the new year, too, because I have always loved setting goals! Love yours, you can keep us all posted on how it goes. Miss you!

That is a great list. I need to finalize mine. There are so many 10Ks around here I'm sure you won't have a problem finding one. Good luck!

I like your list. The Ensign one is awesome, and you'll totally do it!

Oh, and fitness goal is much better than a weight goal, for sure.

I should have added "yell less" to mine. I think I will...(I guess, technically, it goes under "be a better wife and mother", right?)

I love your goals... I should add the "try not to yell so much" to mine. Landon's due date is March 26th. When are yours?
