Our Date

Saturday morning our kids all got to go to the primary activity.  This is the first time we have been able to send all three.  It was so nice!  And they got to wear pajamas to church so they were all very excited.  Bryan and I decided to take advantage of a free hour on a Saturday morning so we decided to go out for breakfast.  As a connoisseur of fine breakfast foods, we went to the local Burger King to take advantage of their value menu

As we sat down with our fine food {French toast sticks, orange juice, diet coke and croissanwichs} we noticed a female Burger King employee entering the store.  Nothing to unusual about that except that in her hands she had two large bags from McDonald’s.  We laughed about that and decided that they must have been craving pancakes which Burger King doesn’t serve.  A couple of moments later we noticed that one didn’t have pancakes.  Just egg mcmuffins.  Two female employees (one with pancakes) got orange juice and milk from Burger King and took their food to a booth.

I guess Burger King is fit for a king, but not a queen.

That's hilarious. I would think after flipping the food all day the smell would be hard to take, let alone the food. But stepping out for McD seems a little like frying pan to fire.

My family LOVES them some BK breakfast. They would hail you as brilliant for your date choice!

how funny. it's like that silly commercial where the subway guy is ordering sandwiches delivered from Dominos or something and he's all embarrassed about it.
Sounds like a fun morning!
