My daughter started first grade today.
My oldest son started third grade.
My youngest son starts preschool in a couple of weeks. We walked the kids to the bus stop and have been keeping ourselves busy ever since. I got the kitchen cleaned and then I tackled the kid’s bedrooms. That took much longer than it should have. They are 100x better now though. So far, my youngest isn’t too bored with just me here to entertain him. I don’t think that I’ll have any trouble filling the time that they are away from home.

Your post brought back fond memories of when my older girls were little. I was so excited when my younger one started school and I had the house all to myself in the afternoons. It was such a needed break every Fall. Still, I love homeschooling too. No rushing to meet the bus, no homework battles. : )
