So, I took my kids to see Alvin and the Chipmunks this morning.
And I cried.
No, Alvin, Simon and Theodore did not leave me crying. Dave’s saving the three chipmunks at the end did not bring me to tears.
Allow me to explain.
We were headed to the library afterwards. I knew that I had six books waiting for me and I was so close to finished the book I was reading, so I took it with me to read while we waited for the movie to start.
And the book made me cry.

YEs! I read it and loved it, too! For me it was almost like watching an episode of the wonder years. I loved that book!!
Alvin and the Chipmunks makes me cry. I hate that movie. But The Kids love it. Go figure.
Now I will have to go try and find that book at the library. I love a good crying book!
