FOR TODAY ...
Outside my window... the wind is howling and there is snow and ice on the ground!
I am thinking... that lifting weights takes a lot out of me.
I am thankful for... our furnace. And sweatshirts, hot chocolate and friends.
From the learning rooms... school is cancelled today. I have to teach pre-K Wednesday. The theme is Christmas. Any ideas for me?
From the kitchen... Tonight it will be sloppy joes, beans and carrot sticks.
I am wearing... jeans, my Texas sweatshirt and Christmas tree socks.
I am creating... nothing. I should me making a menu for Christmas day, but I haven’t. I have an itch to scrapbook. And to write.
I am going... to finalize all the things for Christmas tomorrow.
I am reading... Spires of Stone by Annette Lyon. Just finished How to Take the Ex Out of Ex-boyfriend by Janette Rallison. I enjoyed it. Love YA Fiction.
I am hoping... that the wind stops but that the snow sticks around for 11 more days. :)
I am hearing... Bob the Builder.
Around the house... the laundry needs to be folded and put away and the dishes are piled high. I kind of took the day off yesterday so there is much to be done today. It was worth it though!
One of my favorite things... watching a movie with Bryan.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Finishing the Christmas shopping, teaching pre-K Wednesday, and a presidency meeting at the end of the week.
Here is picture thought I am sharing...
