For Today... Monday September 8, 2008
Outside my Window...the wind is blowing, the sun is shining and it looks to be a promising day for soccer.
I am thinking...about how to sell 100 candy bars for the kid's soccer fundraiser. I am tempted to buy all the caramel ones but really, that would be bad.
From the learning rooms...I am realizing that I need to start my oldest on his weekly homework earlier in the week, and my daughter just brought home her first homework. She is very excited.
I am thankful for... the Legos being picked up and put away. They have been out for far too long, and I was getting to where I hated them.
From the kitchen...planning on a rotisserie chicken from Albertson's for dinner tonight. Hoping to bake some cookies too.
I am wearing...blue tee-shirt, jeans, socks and tennis shoes. I am usually barefoot so this is rare, but my foot hurts and the support of my shoes are helping.
I am reading...Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day by Winifred Watson
I am hoping...that my husband/brother's business continues to grow.
I am creating...scrapbooks as always. Also considering a denim rag quilt since I cleaned my closet out over the weekend.
I am hearing...the curtains blowing in the wind, and my daughter and my youngest getting along and playing.
Around the house...is neater and cleaner than a week ago. Much more peaceful too.
One of my favorite things...a breeze on a nice fall day.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...soccer, soccer and some more soccer. Also hosting a scrapbook group and taking dinner to a friend and hoping to get out to celebrate nine years with my hubby.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

Love this post! The picture is so beautiful! I love your pictures!!!
Oh Legos...we have a foot locker full of them. I hate it when they're out, lol. I love caramel candy bars....yum!
I love your post. And our legos are always everywhere, no matter what I do! I hate stepping on them barefoot, which I do daily.
Way cool Amanda!! Your house sounds so serene!!
The Legos in our house are all in Isaac's room for the moment. What we have scattered all over the place are Duplos and Littlest Pet Shops. GRRRR.
I have seen this around on several blogs and have been thinking about participating but have not done it yet.
Wow, happy early Anniversary!
And I agree with cecily that your house sounds serene right now. I need a serene house right about now. Like now. Oh, wait --the kids are in bed. Serenity...ahh...
