We can’t really have Halloween tomorrow with out sharing pictures from the pumpkin patch, can we? We haven’t carved them yet, and I’m not really sure when we will. I guess I better decide if I’m up to tackling that this afternoon while Bryan is working or if we should wait until the last minute and do it tomorrow after soccer.
We didn’t get to the pumpkin patch until Wednesday. I was worried that there wouldn’t be any pumpkins left but there was TONS:
We go to this pumpkin patch because that’s all it is. No rides. No mazes. No games. Nothing that costs extra money. Well, they do have vegetables but it’s not often that kids beg for vegetables.
There is a stack of hay that the kids get to climb. Bryan took pictures of the kids and actually a few with all three kids smiling. From now on he gets to take the picture when I want one of the three of them, because if you’ll remember, I can’t do it.
First my darling daughter chose a pumpkin so big she could hardly carry it.
I talked her into getting a smaller one.
My youngest son is always in search of a small baby pumpkin. This time he surprised us by choosing a white pumpkin.
My oldest was so excited to pull the wagon around that he almost forgot about choosing a pumpkin.
He eventually chose one that weighed (and thus cost) more than I expected.
My kids love Halloween! They shriek with delight each time they see decorations, pumpkins or think about going trick-or-treating. I’m kind of dreading that part – I’ll either limp around with the kids or hobble back and forth between the couch and the door and, quite frankly, neither sounds appealing.
Ah, well, it’s one night and my kids are so excited. And, that’s what it’s all about, right?

Amanda I just came home from the same pumpkin place!! How great that we went to the same place! Even the day before Halloween there were a lot of punkins left.
T or T solution: Bryan can take the kids around, Scott and Ian can man our door and watch the costume parade, and I can come over to man your door while getting to visit with you (sitting on the couch with tour ankle up and iced. I'm assuming you want to postpone pics also? Let us know.
I love Natalie's shot!!
Oh, that looks like so much fun! The pumpkin patch we went to looked suspiciously like Wal-mart. Maybe it was in costume? :)
What a fun patch! I love all the different colors and stuff.
We really wanted to go to one this year but didn't ever make it. Kind of a bummer. But I'm glad I got to live vicariously through your trip! :)
Hey, that's a great pumpkin patch! I agree, no fluffer stuff at the patch equals a good time! I like the variety in the different types of pumpkins!
