Saturday the temperature got to be 70 degrees so the kids decided it was a must-slip-and-slide-day. We checked last year's slide and discovered a hole so we ventured to Target and bought a new one. The kids spent about two hours on that thing. The water was cold. And seventy degrees isn’t warm enough to tempt me in, but I was happy to sit on the porch and take pictures, and read my book.
Saturday morning was crazy ~ Bryan took the kid’s to the youngest’s T-ball pictures and game after dropping me off at the race. I am proud to say I finished fast than last year – 6.7 miles in 1:44:51. Bryan and kids came back just in time to see my me finish. We made a stop at the library. We watched my daughter’s soccer game. We got take-out Chinese food for dinner, and it was excellent.
We had great weather Sunday too so the kids played outside a lot. They even took their dinner outside so Bryan and I got to eat alone, with just the two of us. I got fudge at church. I got adorable books from the kid’s and a plant from my oldest son.
Come Monday morning, I couldn’t believe it was all ready time for a new week to start. Crazy.

That sounded like a perfect fun filled weekend. 70 degrees sounds wonderful...I wonder when we are going to get spring here?
I guess there was a time I would have been in too, but these days I would have been sitting on the porch with you, lol. Looks like they had a blast though!
I firmly believe the weekends go by faster in the spring and summer. Great slip and slide pics!
