We’re on spring break.
For the last two years, I’ve spent Spring Break with the kids in Utah. We’ve spent the week staying up too late playing games and laughing with family. We’ve lunched with new friends and played in the park with old friends. We’ve spent days with great grandparents and cousins. We went to places and saw things that give me a little flutter when I think of Utah.
This year, we are at home.
A big part of me wishes that I was in Utah, keeping with tradition, and not feeling like all I’m doing is referring fights between my children. But then I would have missed this:
One tulip in the front yard bloomed today.
Isn’t she beautiful?

I love that you live the title of your blog --- The Little Things. That tulip is just perfect.
Beautiful! i love tulips. At my house I have been enjoying buttercups.
She is beautiful. Spring is the best, no?
Yes, that is truly beautiful! And I can tell you that in most places in Utah you probably wouldn't be seeing that. I still don't have my grape hycinths coming up yet. In fact in snowed one afternoon last week. But I have to say other than the snow Utah is great right now. I'm sorry that you aren't here. :(
