I can’t help myself.
If I see a flower in bloom, {or about to bloom} I must take a picture of it.
Last week, my mom, my dad, my youngest and I went to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Fest. This is my third year going, and I still love it. I take more than 100 pictures each trip and I love sorting through them when I get home. I could wander the rows of flowers and take pictures for hours.
Next year, all my kids will be in school, so I will go by myself and take hundreds of pictures. And, next year, I will take some extra money to buy myself an elephant ear to enjoy when I need a break. Because it will just be me, and I wont have to share.
If you are coming to Oregon for a visit, I recommend doing it in April. You’ll get rained on, for sure, but you’ll get to see these tulips if you make the trip.

I get my camera back from the shop soon. It will be much more fun to take pictures when they come out well on a better camera.
