Outside my window... cool, cloudy and possibility of rain.
I am thinking... about how sore I am. On Saturday I participated in a 6.7 mile walk. My goal was 2 hours, and I am proud to say that I finished it in 1:47:12. I feel good about that. Portland to Coast wont totally kill me. :)
From the learning rooms... I’m teaching pre-school this week, and the theme is “We Love Summer!” This is my last week of teaching and then we get a few months of for summer. I’m hoping to get him into the high school’s preschool next year. Need to call about that. Soon.
I am thankful for... my body and it’s willingness to do what I want it to do.
From the kitchen... tin foil dinners over the fire pit tonight. We use hamburger patties, cream of chicken soup, potatoes, carrots, onions and mushrooms. I can all ready smell it!
I am wearing... striped pajama pants and an old tee-shirt. Too lazy to get moving yet.
I am reading... the newest Betsy Brannon Green book. So far, so good.
I am hoping... that we have a sunny day on Saturday for my sister’s wedding. I’m taking the pictures.
I am creating... a rag quilt. Denim on the back, with squares on tan, green and a print with deer.
I am praying... that I can improve and be a better mother and wife.
Around the house... there is much to be done. We have house guests starting on Wednesday so there a long list of chores to be completed.
One of my favorite things... listening to my kids get lost in their imaginations while they are playing (and not fighting.)
A few plans for the rest of the week... heading to Target and Wal-Mart, cleaning house, maybe the Tulip Fest, my sister’s wedding, Bryan’s triathlon, kids soccer and football practices, kindergarten musical program.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...
Also, a friend of mine from high school have started a photo blog ~ go check out The 3000 Project.

Which triathlon is Bryan doing? I have much to be done around the house too. But it will have to wait again. I MUST get to the gym tomorrow morning.
Thanks for the comments Amanda! About the beads... I just use a small snap that I bought off the site Snapaholics.com and I wrap the end of the hair around the snap and then close it. The snap is bigger then the beads and they almost never fall off.
Just catching up in here...I don't think you are "country", totally get the 'how to get it all done, with kids' thing, and love your day book. I especially love your honesty. You are amazing! And Saturday's weather is supposed to be good...can't wait to see your pics!
That is a GORGEOUS pic! I love foil dinners too..we need to make some soon.
Hey, I have a wedding on Saturday too. Is your wedding at the temple by any chance?
