It’s been awhile since I’ve done one of these. I like to do it every once in awhile…to capture what is happening with me right now. See more here.
FOR TODAY Monday April 6
Outside my window... the sun is shining, a light breeze is blowing and spring is in full bloom.
I am thinking... of the things I can improve ~ not judging others, forgiving more, attending the temple more, studying the scriptures more, praying more often, making my home a haven, etc, etc.
I am thankful for... for my faithful husband, and spiritual uplifting from conference the last two days.
From the kitchen... tonight we’re having pizza. My daughter is starting a dance class today and it will end at dinner time. I’m hoping to get an Easter themed Family Home Evening lesson in too.
I am wearing... gray t-shirt and capri pants. I’m pretending it’s summer. It is 70 here though. Quite nice indeed.
I am creating... plans to make my family stronger.
I am going... to the library. And walking. And to dance class. And to sit in the sun and soak it all in.
I am reading... April’s issue of the Ensign. I also just finished Confessions of a Shopaholic. It was fun. I enjoyed it. The movie is very loosely based on the book, and I liked both.
I am hoping... that the sun will stay around for awhile.
I am hearing...quiet. My daughter is doing a puzzle, my son is playing trains and there is no background noise. It’s quite peaceful right now.
Around the house... the dishes are done, but I need to get up and do the vacuuming, the laundry and the bed making.
One of my favorite things... reading. Escaping reality for a little while. Chatting (or emailing) with a friend who is far away.
A few plans for the rest of the week: dance, library, football, soccer, cub scouts, football, soccer, walks, etc.
Here is picture thought I am sharing...
What are you plans for the week? Are you thinking on anything specific from your conference experience (or church services)? What are you hoping for this week?

Sounds like a great day.
We have a tulip festival in these parts, too. We used to go every year, but as the kids have gotten older they've become less enthusiastic about it. You're little tulips are sure cute!
what a lovely thought...to capture the NOW. Fun photo of the kidlets, with the perfect number of tulips.
Ha! I love that picture!
I love it when you do these. It's like a glimpse inside your kitchen window. They help me see inside your soul. Love it.
