Foto Friday
Last week Cecily had a great idea. Instead of trying to come up with something clever to end the weekend on she posted a favorite foto from the week. I love the idea, and am stealing it.
The other day I realized that I don't play as many games with my youngest as I did with my oldest when he was this age, so we pulled out the Discovery Toys toys. I love their toys for younger kids. He loved the Busy Bugs. He loves the Opposites Puzzles. And he loved to make necklaces:
I love to watch toddler hands. I am always kind of amazed at how much those little things can accomplish.
I also love to watch the concentration in their faces. He had a great time stringing the plastic pieces and making a necklace.

Here is our attempt at a self-portrait. Not as good as the ones Bridget does with her kids, but it'll work. Look at how cute his smile is. Love you, bub.

Aww...he's a cutie, that one. Good for you for getting out some fun stuff. I love toddler hands, too. :)
i couldn't agree with you more on watching toddler hands! i love watching my kids when they are super concentrated on what they are doing and are unaware that they are being observed! it brings a smile to my face!
what a treat mom you are!
So cute! He has Brian's gorgeous blue eyes!! You guys are adorable!
That is so true about toddler hands. And then to go along with the hands their look of concentration on their faces. It's one of those memories you want engraved in your memory forever. Thanks for sharing this. I love it.
What do you mean?? That's a great photo! I know what you mean about the youngest not getting nearly the attention that the oldest. I feel bad for Cole because of that.
Hello my Foto Friday friend!!! What great pictures you took!!!
I love pudgy toddler hands. They do accomplish so much! AND I adore what you said about 'conversation in their faces'. What a great way to say it!!
I think another blog friend and I are really going to start hosting Foto Friday in a couple of weeks. How fun is that???
